The company operates as an independent petroleum products wholesale company and mini-refinery operator, with its registered headquarters in Almaty — the financial and commercial capital of Kazakhstan. Over the course of more than a decade of operations, Kamenistoe-Neft has built a reputation for product integrity, logistical reliability and transparent commercial dealings.
Unlike many state-adjacent entities, Kamenistoe-Neft operates as a fully private limited liability partnership (ТОО — Товарищество с ограниченной ответственностью) under Kazakhstan civil and commercial law. Our Story
2010 — Foundation
Kamenistoe-Neft was registered in Almaty in the year Kazakhstan’s oil industry was undergoing rapid structural change. Recognising a gap in the market for an independent, quality-focused petroleum products supplier that could serve both domestic industrial buyers and export clients, the founders established the company with a clear mandate: deliver refinery-grade products with trader-level service.
2013–2016 — Expansion Phase
The company expanded its product range to include aviation fuels, heavy fuel oils and base oils. During this period, Kamenistoe-Neft became the point of contact for independent gas producers in Kazakhstan, growing its gas trading operations and establishing itself as a credible counterparty in multi-commodity energy contracts.
2016–Present — Market Leadership
Following Kazakhstan’s major refinery modernisation programme — which upgraded the Atyrau, Pavlodar and Shymkent refineries — Kamenistoe-Neft aligned its supply chain to source Euro-5 specification products. The company now serves clients across Central Asia, the Caspian region and beyond, offering flexible delivery terms and multi-modal logistics solutions.
